In his announcement, Mr. Deegan states, “The Catholic identity of our schools is of utmost importance and regional boards play a pivotal role in ensuring fidelity to our mission. It is thanks to the talent and expertise that you bring to our schools that we can move forward with confidence and hope.”
Mrs. Merryman has been a catechist, teacher and school administrator for the Archdiocese of New York for over 30 years. In 2016 she was honored by the Catholic Schools Dutchess Region for the extraordinary vision and leadership she exhibits each and every day as a Catholic educator and administrator. She is now in her sixth year as principal at Lourdes.
