Armed with balloons, thoughtful and individualized cards along with homemade cookies, these four members of the OLL senior class went on “mini road trips” over the past week to the homes of administration, faculty, and staff members to express their appreciation for a school they love. When these seniors left for their Disney trip on March 12, little did they know that their senior year would end there and that they would not return to the building or have the chance to say goodbye!
In gratitude and understanding for a time that is unprecedented, these four decided to take matters into their own hands and express their appreciation for all the work done for them over these past 4 years. “We couldn’t let it end like that, we needed closure, ” remarked Paloma.
As if that were not enough, these students set up breakfast goodies this week outside of school as many teachers were there to assist students turning in textbooks and cleaning out lockers.
Thank you, Paloma, Theo, Jacob, and Max. Well done!
