A Message from Mrs. Merryman

I would like you to know that I couldn’t agree more with Mr. Deegan’s sentiments -especially that teachers should be appreciated every day.

There are no words to describe the obstacles, frustrations, insecurities, uncertainty, and challenges that this pandemic has posed to all those in education. However, like you, I thank God every day for my inheritance of a faith that taught me valuable and instinctive behaviors- to offer up any suffering, to look at the Cross as an example of the ultimate sacrifice made for our salvation, and to trust God each day that God will use our struggles for good.

Please know that your dignity and grace in handling this pandemic is truly an example to all your students and their families. Your work ethic and behaviors are the Gospel in action - you are witness to the truth that no cross is too heavy to carry —because with God all things are possible!

Catholic Schools get the job done!

Thank you for all the good things that you do. Thank you for your commitment to excellence in Catholic education.

Saint Katharine Drexel Prayer

Everloving God, you called Saint Katharine Drexel to teach the message of the Gospel and to bring the life of the Eucharist to the Black and Native American peoples. By her prayers and example, enable us to work for justice among the poor and oppressed. Draw us all into the Eucharistic community of your Church, that we may be one in you. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen
