For his project, Tom made the decision to create a painting honoring the military that now resides in the athletic area. Many of the details in the design were intentional. The Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel who is the Patron Saint of military personnel and the shading so that it appears as if there is light behind the veteran silhouettes and also light coming down from the heavens through the prayer. Tom offers his thanks to fellow classmates who were instrumental in the design and painting to complete this project: Bridget Amone, Valerie Bubel, Joseph Jabbour, and Alyssa Santacroce.

Tom started with Boy Scouts in first grade as a Wolf Cub Scout so it’s been an 11-year journey to this impressive accomplishment.

What a tremendous honor to our military! Great job Tom and congratulations!
