Mrs. Vilardo then introduced the eight nominees for the esteemed Warrior Award. “The Our Lady of Lourdes Warrior Award is the highest honor the faculty and administration can bestow on a graduate”, Mrs. Vilardo stated. “This award recognizes the four young men and four young women who, according to the administration and faculty, best exemplify the qualities and characteristics professed by the school’s mission and philosophy. These eight senior students have been voted as candidates for the Class of 2024 Warrior Award. Scholarship, Leadership, Spirituality, Good Judgment, Optimism, and A Zeal for Learning are just some of the characteristics that define the credentials for this award.”
The winners of the Warrior Award are known only at the moment that the awards are bestowed at graduation.

In her closing remarks, Mrs. Vilardo celebrated the entire Class of 2024 stating, “We are unbelievably proud of all of our students and to the Warriors who make up the class of 2024, you should all be commended for your strength, your courage, and your commitment to your school.“
