SUNY New Paltz:  Completed graduate coursework in Humanistic and Multicultural Education

Mrs. Gehlhoff joined the Our Lady of Lourdes faculty in 2016. Previously in her teaching career, Mrs. Gehlhoff had the opportunity to teach students from preschool through adult learners. Her experience includes teaching Spanish in both public and private schools, as well as teaching English as a Second Language at SUNY Orange.

Mrs. Gehlhoff strives to develop a love of Spanish and strong language skills in her students.  She enjoys incorporating technology into her teaching and keeping current with new strategies and tools to increase language acquisition in the classroom. In addition to teaching Spanish, Mrs. Gehlhoff is the Department Chairperson for the World Language Department and the Coordinator for La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica.
