Mrs. Cuccia teaches AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Computer Science Principles, and General Environmental Science. Her hope is to instill creativity, and interest in the world around us, and a love of learning through laboratory activities, field investigations, and inquiry-based projects. She views summer as an opportunity for professional growth and spent the past summer at several workshops and conferences on the topics of AP Environmental Science, Canvas, and STEM learning.
Mrs. Cuccia is the National Honor Society advisor and co-moderates Science Club with the other science teachers. She also participates in the DEC’s American Eel citizen science research each spring with any students who are interested in doing volunteer ecological fieldwork at Hunter’s Brook in Wappinger Falls.
