Diane Geiger teaches Regents, Honors, Advanced Placement Physics 1 and 2, and Introduction to Engineering. This is her fifth year teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Mrs. Geiger has taught at the college level and in STEM outreach activities at local area schools and libraries. Before joining the faculty at OLL, Mrs. Geiger spent a number of years as a development engineer in the areas of digital logic design and semiconductor characterization.
Mrs. Geiger has a passion for creating and building and has personally fabricated high efficiency textured surface solar cells, a silicon-based gas chromatograph, and high gain polysilicon emitter transistors. She enjoys doing hands-on activities with her students and exposing them to real-life applications of physics.
