Ms. Crittenden is currently in her second year teaching here at Our Lady of Lourdes High School. A member of the OLL Class of ’09, she went on to study English Literature and Music at the University of Rochester before transferring to New York University to complete bachelor degrees in both. In 2013, she was accepted into NYU’s Creative Writing Program at its Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction Writing.
Prior to re-joining the Lourdes community, Ms. Crittenden taught Introduction to Creative Writing: Fiction and Poetry at NYU. Throughout her career as a student and instructor, her faith has remained a priority in her life. She is ecstatic to be part of the Our Lady of Lourdes English Department, teaching English 9R and World Masterpieces and continually expressing her profound love for words, literature, and proper punctuation.
