He was also a finalist for the 2020 IR Magazine ‘Rising Star’ award and is a finalist for the 2022 ‘Best in Sector – Industrials’ award.

Prior to joining Xylem in 2012, he worked in the Audit Practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Oneonta in Professional Accounting. He played basketball there for 3 years, including Captain his Senior year, while also serving as a peer tutor and on the Accounting Society.

Matt graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes in 2003 with honors. He was a three-sport athlete in Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field while also actively involved in other clubs and community volunteer activities. Matt has returned to his high school alma mater to present at Career Day AND you can also find him on the court during the Alumni Basketball games.

Matt currently lives in White Plains with his wife, Denise, seven-month-old daughter, Paige, and dog, Gunnar.

“My time at Lourdes was foundational not only in preparing me for higher education and my career but also for the rest of my life. Excellence in academics and a disciplined work ethic were instilled in me at Lourdes – in the classroom, on the court, in our communities. What distinguishes a Lourdes education is that it develops these qualities and life skills while also shaping students’ values, morals, and spirituality through the Catholic faith. I am blessed that this was an extension of what my parents (also both Lourdeans) have instilled in our family growing up. Lourdeans past, present, and future embodies the definition of ‘family’ – and it is one that I cherish.”
