A Message From the Nominee

I am truly happy to call myself a Lourdean and to be able to walk onto the Our Lady of Lourdes campus and feel a sense of belonging, community, and school spirit.

I am glad I attended Lourdes because I was able to build a solid foundation of academic skills. I have learned to take pride and ownership in the quality of my school work and the direction of my own education. I have tried to absorb the materials that were presented and apply those to real-life situations while taking full advantage of the opportunities I was given in each one of my classes. Lourdes has provided me with a wonderful community of classmates and a safe environment that I will never forget.

My favorite memory from Lourdes was the senior Disney trip. It was such a privilege to be able to go to Disney World with my closest friends and classmates. Leaving for college is bittersweet, and being able to spend time in the “Happiest Place on Earth” was something I will never forget.

I would tell a student who is thinking about attending Lourdes that it is a place of structure and guidance. Over these past four years, I have constantly felt supported and encouraged to learn, make mistakes, and grow as a person in my education and in my own personal life.
