He is the Assistant Principal for Academics serving in this position for the last eleven years.  Prior to assuming the role of Assistant Principal, he was the Development Director at Lourdes. Upon retirement from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Department, he returned to his alma mater. Michael Krieger is a 1975 graduate of Lourdes High School and a graduate of Marist College with a BS Degree in Criminal Justice.  He reunited with Lourdes in 1997 in the role of JV Girls Basketball coach and thoroughly enjoyed subsequent coaching years in the Volleyball, Softball and Boys Basketball programs.

“I constantly thank Our Mother Mary for guiding me back to my alma mater where I have the privilege to serve these fine young men and women. The students are the bright stars and focus of why we are here. Each year we enroll young Lourdeans who are eager to learn and share their talents with the community. I am so fortunate to work with such dedicated and passionate faculty, administration, and staff. It was a blessing and pleasure to return home.”

In addition to Mr. Krieger, his wife (Julie ’75) and three children (Emily ’03, Laura ’06, Michael ’11) are also graduates of Our Lady of Lourdes High School.
